Verification

Every verified supplier is visited in person.

Our team applies, visits the premises, audits photo records, and confirms every claim before a supplier earns the GemSurf Verified badge.

Two tiers

Verified in person, or digitally verified.

Verified in person

A GemSurf auditor has visited the supplier's premises, confirmed the physical operation, and audited inventory plus credentials. This is our strongest trust signal and takes on-site time to earn.

Digitally verified

Credentials and business registration confirmed remotely by our team. Useful for established suppliers while we work through the in-person visit queue.

Process

How a supplier earns the badge

  1. 1

    Apply

Supplier submits business details, contact information, and claims (categories, specialties, certifications).

  2. 2

    On-site visit

A GemSurf team member visits the premises in person to confirm the business operates where it claims and at the scale it claims.

  3. 3

    Photo + credential audit

Booth, showroom, and inventory photos captured. Trade licenses, certifications, and export registrations cross-checked.

  4. 4

    Verified badge issued

Profile receives the Verified badge with the audit date and tier. The badge appears on search results, the supplier detail page, and trade-show exhibitor lists.

Trust

What a Verified badge actually means.

  • The company exists at the address on its profile.
  • The business operates at the scale its profile claims — not a shell.
  • Categories and specialties match what's actually produced on-site.
  • Trade licenses and export registrations are current.
  • The photos on the profile were taken by GemSurf, not stock imagery.
